Civil War re-enactments have been gaining popularity over the years and have become a popular family event. Both reenactors and spectators gather at the battle sites around the country for annual events. Some events are distinguished by their historical importance and others for the quality of recall of events. History buffs, collectors and gun enthusiasts meet to reconstruct the history. Fort Steilacoom, WA - Orders the civil war not limited to the East Coast and Midwest. Fort Steilacoom, the re-enactment of the Civil War is in Washington state in early May. McKinney, TX - The experience of battle reenactors Myers Landing in McKinney, Texas, in November, with the cavalry and infantry. Madison County, NY - Reenactors covers 150 acres in Madison County, New York in October. There are no taxes. London, KY - The Battle of Camp Wildcat is alivenear London, Kentucky in October. Pre-registration is required for all reenactors. Pelican, LA - Head to Louisiana in April for the Battle of Pleasant Hill. Rowlesburg, WV - Reenactors can be a part of the Jones-Imboden Raid in West Virginia in May, when Gen. Jones to attack the city to perform the vital B & O Railroad bridge to destroy "mumbling."
